The Friends of Niagara University Theatre was incorporated in 1986 to raise awareness and develop support for Niagara University Theatre. Continuing an enduring tradition of support, the Friends of NU Theatre has had another successful year raising money for the theatre studies program!
Joining or renewing your Friends of NU Theatre membership each season will not only help continue to improve the facilities with needed equipment, but will also afford the ability to enrich the education of our student-artists by bringing them into contact with guests in the industry. Some recent industry guests we have hosted include John Kander, Deborah Brevoort, Joe DiPietro, Scott Ellis, Tina Howe, David Hyde Pierce, Chita Rivera, Rick Sordelet, Armand Schultz, Sam Viverito and Karen Ziemba, among others.
As a member, you can participate in planning fundraising events, including the annual NU Theatre Gala, and other activities in support of Niagara University Theatre. There are additional benefits, such as member discounts to all NU Theatre productions and more. We look forward to your involvement with the Friends of NU Theatre and working with you to ensure we are best preparing our graduates for the professional world beyond Niagara University.
